Trivia Night Fundraiser to Support Galva Music Series
March 7 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$90.00Get ready for a fun-filled evening of trivia, laughter, and friendly competition — all in support of the Levitt AMP Galva Music Series, Galva’s beloved 10-week, free, family-friendly summer concert series held annually at Wiley Park.
The Galva Arts Council will host a Trivia Night Fundraiser on Saturday, March 7th at its headquarters located at 128 Exchange Street in Galva. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and trivia begins promptly at 6:00 PM. The event is open to all ages.
Hosted by the always-entertaining Lance Camp, the evening will feature brain-teasing questions across a wide range of topics — with a little music mixed in, of course. No need to be a music expert or an expert in anything; the diverse categories ensure that everyone has a chance to shine and there will be plenty of fun and laughs to be had.
Teams may consist of up to six players for $90 per team, or individuals may participate for $15 per person and will be placed on a team upon arrival. There will be a maximum of eleven teams. Guests are welcome to bring snacks to enjoy during the event. A silent auction will take place throughout the evening and a winner for the raffle of the drum head signed by every performer at last year’s series will be drawn.
Proceeds from Trivia Night will help raise the required matching funds for the Levitt AMP Grant, which supports the annual concert series. The Levitt AMP Galva Music Series brings nationally touring artists to Wiley Park each summer and has become a cornerstone community event, attracting thousands of attendees while providing free access to high-quality live music for residents and visitors alike.
“Events like this are critical to sustaining the Levitt AMP Galva Music Series,” organizers said. “The grant is a dollar-for-dollar match, so every ticket purchased and every silent auction bid and raffle ticket purchased helps keep live music free and accessible for our entire community.”
Advance reservations are encouraged. Please RSVP by March 5th by emailing bdennison04@yahoo.com or calling 309-932-3533 (landline).
Grab your friends, test your knowledge, and help support live music in Henry County — we’ll see you there!
