Skerryvore to Close Out Their 20th Anniversary U.S. Tour at Wiley Park in Galva, IL

Crossroads Cultural Connections is proud to present an unforgettable evening of music with internationally acclaimed Scottish band Skerryvore on Friday, September 26th at Wiley Park. The evening kicks off at 6:30 PM with the Black Hawk Pipe and Drum Band, followed by Skerryvore at 7:00 PM. This event marks Skerryvore’s final U.S. performance of their 20th Anniversary Tour before returning to Scotland.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Snazzy’s Lemonade and Azteca de Oro, making this a perfect evening to enjoy world-class music in a welcoming community setting. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. The suggested donation is $25–35, and this is an all-ages show.
Formed on the Isle of Tiree in 2005, Skerryvore has become one of Scotland’s most dynamic musical exports, blending folk, rock, and pop into a sound that’s earned them comparisons to Mumford & Sons and Runrig. Known for their electrifying live shows, soaring bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, and driving rhythms, Skerryvore has built a global following, performing in over 30 countries and headlining major festivals around the world.
With multiple awards including “Live Act of the Year” at the Scottish Traditional Music Awards, and a string of acclaimed albums to their name, Skerryvore has spent two decades pushing the boundaries of contemporary Scottish music while staying true to their roots. Their performances are a high-energy celebration of culture, community, and connection that leave audiences dancing, singing, and uplifted.
This special Galva concert is not only a chance to hear Skerryvore’s infectious sound live, but also to be part of a historic evening as the band closes the U.S. chapter of their milestone 20th Anniversary Tour.
