The University of Illinois is sponsoring another year of it’s “Farm in the Park” event, FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
Please join us Tuesday, August 4th, 11am-1pm at Galva’s beautiful Veteran’s Park along Front St. Bring your family for a fun FREE day exploring agriculture, horticulture, and healthy living with Illinois Extension. Come enjoy a variety of interactive games, crafts, information, hand-outs, prizes and more!
Here is what is planned:
- Free Petting Zoo
- Kid’s Crafts & Activity Stations
- Health, Wellness, Gardening, Agriculture, and 4-H Resources
- Interactive Games & Prizes
- Come for Lunch: $5 a hot dog, chips, cookie and drink
