The City counts on its volunteers for many things: from assisting the City Council to develop policies and services designed to keep the "City of Go" moving forward, to ensuring Galva's readiness to handle emergencies.

As a volunteer for one of the City's boards or commissions, you will serve the needs of the community by acting as a respected advisor to elected officials on matters that concern the community at large.

As a volunteer for one of the City's emergency services organizations, you become part of team whose sole purpose is to help the community avoid potential disasters; and when disaster does strike, help fellow Galvans in distress.
