As part of our Independence from Monarchy Day, the Freedom Fest Committee sponsors a tractor show in Wiley Park.

Ever wonder what a parade looks like from a participants point of view? Here are some pictures from atop a fire truck.

The City of Galva's annual Independence Day Celebration culminates in a spectacular fireworks display that draws nearly 10,000 visitors to the Galva Park District. Freedom Fest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Galva's Independence Day celebration provides the funding for this stirring show through fundraising activities performed throughout the year.

The Galva Car Show is held on the second Saturday of August each year.

Sponsored by the Galva Freedom Fest Comittee, this popular event provides an opportunity for local and regional car enthusiasts to display some of their most prized possessions to each other and the general public.
